Scarab Darkroom Lite is a free program for photographers, allowing you to view and modify RAW photos and convert them to other graphic formats (JPG, TIFF). The application is characterized by the speed of loading and viewing RAW files, instant graphics conversion with accurate reproduction of the smallest details and colors, the ability to change the size of the output digital image, and additional tools to help edit image files on the computer. Scarab Darkroom supports over 100 different digital camera models from Sony, Canon, Fujifilm, Nikon, Olympus, Samsung, Pentax and Panasonic.

The program also reads metadata from graphic files, from which we will find out when exactly the photo was taken and whether a flash was used, and from which model it was taken. The program has various functions and special filters improving the quality of any photo. Among them you will find sliders to change the brightness, contrast and black.

There were also tools for framing photos, adjusting them using the tone curve, as well as a special algorithm to sharpen any photo.
