Samsung Smart Switch is a non-installation and very easy to use tool, allowing you to transfer private data to Samsung Galaxy smartphones from devices such as Apple, Blackberry, Nokia or older Galaxy or Galaxy Note models. The application gives you the ability to create on your computer and then transfer to your smartphone backups of user-relevant components. These can include contacts, calendar, notes, messages, call history, and even stored media - photos, music, and videos.

In the case of Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean), the creator also provides the function of copying wallpapers, notifications and bookmarks. The latest version of Samsung Smart Switch in addition to older Galaxy models also supports Apple devices with iOS 4.2.1 or higher, BlackBerry 6.0 or higher (BlackBerry 10 version is not supported) and Nokia 40/Symbian 6.0 or higher. Unfortunately, the tool version for Mac OS does not support Finnish manufacturer's devices.
