Very simple, free application for editing Win32 PE files (DLL, EXE, OCX, CPL, SRC) and other system resources. Resource Hacker does not have such advanced options as other commercial programs of this type, but it is completely free, and its functionality is often sufficient to perform the most common actions on the above mentioned files. Thanks to Resource Hacker, the user can change menu names, modify text appearing in dialog boxes and buttons, import, export, add and remove multimedia objects (cursors, icons, AVI, GIF, JPG, WMV, MP3 files, etc.).

Additionally, the tool also enables visual editing of windows. Elements on the window can be moved and resized, and the user has a list of controls (buttons, graphics, texts), which can be placed on the form.
