Registry Finder is a small, free-of-charge tool useful when searching the system registry for specific values, e.g. related entries with deleted applications or hidden options of the operating system itself. It is characterized by an extensive search engine, in which it is possible to search both classic search terms (including content that is not to be included in the results) and the use of regular expressions.
The program has a simple and easy to read interface, devoid of any water splashes - you can see that the author assumed that his application is just to work and not to do anything else. In this respect, it is hard to accuse the Registry Finder because it works quickly and its use should not cause anyone the slightest problems. The program window is divided into several parts:
a preview of the whole registry in the left panel, a browser with tabs placed slightly above, search results in the right panel and the history of changes and operations made below. Using the application is mainly using a search engine, which allows you to make a few choices before starting the operation. We can search the entire register or just a selected key, limit the results to specific types of data, search in hidden values or take into account only the overall matching of the query.
We can freely edit, copy or delete the found results - of course, it is recommended to know how not to damage the registry, and thus the system itself. After unpacking the archive file, the program does not require installation.
