A free Microsoft Word 2003 text editor add-on, allowing you to easily remove confidential information from the document you are editing. Redaction is installed as an additional toolbar in the Word menu and from this level it gives the possibility to mark the selected text fragments as confidential at the touch of a button. After the editing process is finished, you can use the "Redact Document" option to generate a new document in which the previously selected fragments will be covered with a black "marker", which makes it impossible to read them and at the same time allows you to preserve the original layout of the entire document.

A document created in this way can be additionally secured against editing. This plugin is intended for Microsoft Word 2003 text editor in any language version. Microsoft .NET Framework version 1.1 libraries installed in the system (version 1.2 of the add-on should also work correctly with .NET Framework version 2.0) are required for proper operation of the add-on.
