Rebelle is a program for painting on a computer with the use of natural imitation tools. Its creators ensure that they have succeeded in developing the best algorithms on the market which reflect the behaviour, flow and spontaneity of traditional materials. Rebelle's strongest point is the simulation of materials that are based on water.

Watercolor and inks can be dried and then soaked again and blurred, which gives original effects and a feeling as if we have real tools in our hands. You can even tilt the sketchbook and watch the water run off, taking a bit of paint with you. The program also allows you to combine wet and dry tools and paint on layers, which can then be overlaid in 23 ways.

Of course, there's plenty of good support for Wacom graphics tablets, although it's limited to pressure reading. Rebelle provides you with watercolours, acrylic paints, pastels, pencils, ink pen, markers, airbrush and eraser, as well as several types of paper for drawing and painting. In addition, the applied materials can be dried, the paper drained, soaked again, smear in several ways and, of course, take colour from the appropriate point of the sampler.

Colour mixing can also be done in several ways, and your favourite colours can be saved in the palette. The interface of the program is very simple and even novice users should not have any problems with it. The trial version of Rebelle is very limited.

The program allows you to test all the tools, but we can paint for 30 days on only one type of paper with the logo of the program in the middle. The manufacturer of the program is constantly experimenting with new solutions. Painting with Rebelle tools is also possible in the browser on the program's website for free.

Unfortunately, it requires Java.
