Real Player is the first player of sound and image transmitted in real time (without the need to download whole files). The formats used by RealAudio and RealVideo are the most popular way of transmitting radio and television broadcasts on the Internet. RealPlayer is also a standard media player for playing standard audio and video files such as MP3, MIDI, WAV, SWF, ASF.

During installation, the program integrates with the browsers installed in the system, and at the same time determines the optimal playback parameters adjusted to the possibilities of the link available to the user. The program starts automatically each time the system starts up and places its icon next to the system watch. To turn this off, follow the procedure below:

Click on the View menu and select Preferences. Select the General tab. Click the Settings button in the StartCenter section.

Uncheck Enable StartCenter. Click OK. Confirm your decision by clicking Yes.

Click OK to save your changes. Close the settings window.
