QILING Disk Master Free is a basic and at the same time made available free of charge edition of an interesting tool for backing up the contents of a selected disk, but not only. From its level we will also create a virtual disk (in FVD format), create and run the so-called RAM disks and get detailed information about the data warehouse (along with the evaluation of its condition). The program is very easy to use, it has been equipped with a slightly ascetic graphical interface, in which you will still find most of the most important functions to operate the hard disk.

It is based on tools for backing up/restoring selected partitions and cloning disc contents. They allow you to conveniently copy files from our disk to another data carrier, compress the backup created, protect the copy with a password or divide it into smaller parts. There were also options to set the priority for program operation and limit the data transfer rate.

Other tools offered by QILING Disk Master Free allow you to create virtual disks on a database stored on a physical medium and run the so-called RAM disks, which are located in the computer's RAM memory and allow for instant access to files located on them. The user also gets the function of creating rescue disks useful e.g. during a system failure, as well as a number of important information about the data warehouse and individual attributes of its operation.

The free version has many limitations on paid editions. It does not support Windows server variants, does not have the ability to move/partitions/disk size change, does not allow for automatic operation of the tool and does not support protected media.
