ProgDVB is a free program that allows you to watch TV and listen to radio stations whose signal is transmitted from a satellite or via the Internet. In order for the program to work properly, apart from the obvious in this case satellite dish, one of the several models of special cards for reception of satellite television is also required. In addition to viewing, the ProgDVB also allows you to record TV or radio signals and retransmit them to other users of the local network (known as broadcasting).

The Scheduler option allows you to plan the recording of your favorite program in advance, just like in the case of a classic VCR. The program's capabilities can also be increased by means of optional plugins (so-called plug-ins).
