Prevent Restore is a small and easy to use tool to protect your privacy. With its help we will overwrite the deleted data as well as the empty hard disk space. This will ensure that no one can access our files, even if they use specialist data recovery software.

The program is equipped with an intuitive interface that guides the user step-by-step through the whole process of data overwriting. We have at our disposal 2 modes of operation (standard and complete), which enable us to protect our privacy to varying degrees. Prevent Restore is based on advanced algorithms (DoD 5220.22, Gutmann and others) and allows you to permanently erase the traces of our files stored on both standard hard drives, as well as memory cards, portable USB storage devices, etc.

Optionally, the tool allows you to delete the contents of the paging file and the system trash. The first location is important as it may contain personal information such as logins or passwords.
