PowerISO is a tool designed to perform a number of operations (creating, encrypting, editing, extracting, compressing and converting) on CD/DVD/BD images. The program supports 20 most popular file formats, including ISO, BIN, NRG, CDI, DAA, MDF, IMG, etc., including virtual disk files created by Virtual PC (VHD), VMWare (VMDK) and VirtualBox (VDI). A big advantage of the application is the ability to convert almost any file format to an ISO, BIN or DAA image (advanced options).
With PowerISO, you can also mount disc images in a virtual drive, create self-starting ISO files and bootable USB sticks, burn compilations you are preparing, and much more. In addition, the application allows integration with the system shell, context menu, supports the function of copying and pasting data from the system clipboard and dragging data to the main program window.
