PotPlayer is a powerful media player, created as a continuation of the popular KMplayer. It allows you to play audio and video files in many popular formats, DVDs, signal from TV/SAT tuners and digital cameras, streams from the Internet, etc., while perfectly coping with materials in high resolution HD. Despite the simple graphical interface at first glance, the program has huge possibilities of configuring individual aspects of media playback.
You can find out about its potential by entering the settings of the player. There are a number of features to customize both the image and the sound and subtitles of the movie being played. Configuration options include functions to set the color space of the image, change its size, aspect ratio and position on the screen, many tools and filters to improve the quality of the reproduced image, and so on.
In the case of PotPlayer sound, it allows to direct it to various audio outputs, carry out resampling and normalization processes, control the volume on each of the channels, and change its tone through the built-in equalizer. It also did not take up interesting functions related to subtitles - such as font formatting, rendering, screen position, etc. - but it also did not take up any interesting functions related to subtitles.
A great advantage of PotPlayer is the ability to easily configure keyboard shortcuts, as well as creating profiles with settings. The latter is very important and improves the comfort of work when we often change the device on which we play multimedia (e.g. computer, TV).
Support for 3D video is not insignificant either.
