Pixel is a little-known and underestimated, although developed since 1997. The program supports the most popular graphic formats (GIF, PNG, JPG, TIFF, BMP, PSD.). It offers editing capabilities such as operations on layers, paths, channels and selections, support for RGB and CMYK standards, special effects and layer styles are also available.
A very interesting feature is the support of increasingly popular HDRI images with 32-bit precision. The retouching tools are a set of brushes and filters attached to an application as a plug-in. Pixel also provides tools to control a cut image to be published as a web page, as well as support for tablets (with pressure support).
It is worth noting that Pixel is a multi-platform - it can be run not only on Windows, but also on Linux, QNX, FreeBSD, MacOS X, O2/2, and even DOS. The program has, among other things, a Polish interface.
