Free program, as the name suggests, designed mainly for processing of photographs. In addition to basic operations on images such as resizing, cropping, mirroring, etc., the program offers a very extensive collection of filters. The list of filters includes basic modifications such as changing brightness, contrast, saturation, image dyeing, gamma change, and a bit more fancy effects such as watercolor, ink, puzzle, sketch or pointilism.

In total, we have more than 100 filters and effects, but that's not all. Filters can be applied to selected areas. Selection can be done with the supplied shapes (rectangle, rhombus, ellipse, triangle...) or by hand.

Using the PhotoMasque tool we can create interesting vignettes and transparency in photos. In addition, basic drawing tools are also available. A big advantage is support for all the most popular graphic formats, including TIFF, PSD (Adobe Photoshop format) and PSP (Paint Shop Pro format).

Noteworthy is the ability to export images in GIF format as icons with 16, 256 or 16 million colors. PhotoFiltre also offers repeat operations in batch mode, which allows you to process a large number of graphics in a short time. The program also includes a simple photo viewer, text tools with the possibility of adding effects, and a module that supports TWAIN-compatible devices (cameras, scanners).
