File Recovery is a freeware program for recovery of deleted and corrupted data that supports FAT 12/16/32 and NTFS file systems. The program automatically finds drives even if Boot Sector or FAT has been deleted or corrupted (this option does not work in NTFS file system), plays files with their original creation time and date, and reconstructs also those files where there is no link from the folder in which the file was located. The special playback function supports the following file formats:

ARJ, AVI, BMP, CDR, DOC, DXF, DBF, XLS, EXE, GIF, HLP, HTML, HTM, JPG, LZH, MID, MOV, MP3, PDF, PNG, RTF, TAR, TIF, WAV, ZIP. We do not recommend the program to novice users! The program does not support CD-R/CD-RW/DVD and does not support FAT or partition table repair.

Under no circumstances can you install the program on the disk from which the data was erased! In this case, the software must be installed and run on a second independent disk drive.
