OSFMount is a free emulator of virtual drives in Windows, offering many interesting features. It allows you to view and extract selected data from disk images in some of the most popular formats. This tool allows you to mount any number of virtual drives in your system and place images of IMG, DD, ISO, BIN, 00N, NRG, SDI, AFF, AFM, AFD, E01, S01, and VMDK drives in your system.
Access to the data collected within them is identical to the standard data carriers connected to a computer. Similarly, they are available in the system under the letter indicated by the user. OSFMount also has another noteworthy feature.
This is about the option of creating so-called RAM-disks built into the program. They are nothing more than a virtual disk mounted within the available RAM. They can be used to store data to which fast and frequent access is required, as well as any confidential information e.g.
collected by browsers (they are deleted after each reboot of the computer).
