O&O DiskImage is an advanced tool designed to make copies of the contents of hard disks, the so-called disk images. With its help, we will create an ideal copy of the entire disc or just a specific partition, thus protecting ourselves against the loss of important data, documents, photos, etc. The program, as befits a commercial solution, has a number of options and functionalities.

In addition to creating images of entire discs and partitions (including the system, installed applications and all data contained therein), we can also create copies of selected folders and files - the images can be stored either on another physical hard disk or on external drives, DVD/Blu-Ray discs, network drives or flash drives. The program not only compresses the copies we create, but also allows for their encryption. O&O DiskImage also enables simple and fast data recovery, both from Windows and by creating a bootable disk.

It is a powerful tool to protect against the loss of important data, which can also be used for other purposes, such as restoring a slow operating system to the state of the disk saved in the image just after installation.
