One Late Night is a free FPP adventure game, which proves that you don't need an army of moaning zombies to frighten someone, and the place of action blowing with horror doesn't have to be an abandoned old house or cemetery. In the game we play the role of an employee of a certain company, who had to stay longer at work in order to complete an important project. It's late at night, a storm raged outside the window, so as not to fall asleep again over the keyboard, we go for coffee.
After returning to the stand we get a mysterious message on the screen of our monitor. From now on we realize that staying in the office after hours we are not alone at all. Probably under the influence of stress we realize that we have already heard a story about a strange, dark phenomenon wandering through the corridors....
Then we are dealing with a series of very strange and inexplicable phenomena. The main strength of the project is the story set in a realistic working environment, which for many will be terribly familiar ;-). Ordinary clutter on desks, in the rooms, computers and printers of well-known, existing brands, in the corridor of the ominous buzzing photocopier, in the kitchen coffee machine and untapped leftovers in the refrigerator.
In order not to get crazy, from time to time we light up the room with a flashlight or a candle, but we do it rarely and carefully enough not to be noticed.... to the courtesy. In the phase of strong horror we hide under a virtual desk shaking like a donkey.
An important role is played by the sound, ordinary, harmless noises can scare us a lot. You can also play hacker by searching files on colleagues' computers. Thanks to these activities we gain a lot of valuable information and record the state of the game.
As far as the player's movements are concerned, they have been deliberately slowed down to better reflect the feeling of evening fatigue and a certain helplessness, especially at times when you have to take your feet quickly by the belt! One Late Night is an uncommon and very addictive position requiring the player to be clever, logical thinking and, above all, steel nerves ;-). Thanks to its originality and peculiar atmosphere, it will surely appeal to a large number of players.
