NitroShare is an easy-to-use cross-platform file transfer application. You can send documents, photos, videos, or any other data over a network, provided that NitroShare is installed on the source and target devices. Such a solution may be an interesting alternative to sending large files by e-mail, copying them to an external hard disk or pen drive.

After starting NitroShare is available in the system tray from where you can call it with the right mouse button, selecting one of the two options "send file" or "send directory", and then locating the data on your hard disk or other media. To see the progress of uploading files, use the "show transfers" option.
