A useful tool to perform a number of tests on CD/DVD drives. Nero DiscSpeed allows you to check transfer, DAE quality, media access and search times, CPU load depending on speed, transfer from the controller, media acceleration and deceleration times, as well as media loading and ejection times. The program also allows you to scan and test the quality of the media, obtain detailed information about it and delete the content.

The tool is also part of the Nero package but is distributed by the author as a stand-alone and free program.
