MyPaint is a free painting software that works very well with pressure-sensitive graphics tablets. The great advantage of this program is the speed of applying feather marks and very good tracking, and in the field of imitation drawing and painting tools can easily compete with commercial programs, such as Art Rage. You can also add brushes and create your own brushes from the program.

Brushes, templates and a lot of helpful materials can be found on the MyPainta users' forum. The disadvantage of the program is that the tool does not recognize the background paper invoice. The interface of the program is very clear.

On separate palettes the user has access to tools (each of them is accompanied by an illustration and a dash sample), a colour palette memorizing the used colours (triangular, square and circle of colours, unfortunately there is no "mixer" useful for painting), and a list of layers. You can customize the pressure mapping curve to suit your drawing style. Images can be saved in OpenRaster (ORA) format while editing, while finished drawings can be exported as PNG or JPG.
