MoviePlus Starter Edition is a free edition of the application designed for non-linear video editing and editing. The program can be successfully used to cut or merge video clips. MoviePlus Starter Edition has two editing modes as well as most of the amateur movie making applications available on the market.

Timeline is designed for users who are accustomed to traditional work on the time line. Storyboard is an option that should appeal to beginners. By selecting this mode, the user drags and drops graphics or video clips to create a movie history.

Between the blocks of our story you can see smaller ones, to which we drag effects or transitions available in the program database. MoviePlus Starter Edition allows you to easily combine several clips, add transitions between movies, improve the look of the shots as well as remove the background from the so-called blue or greenscreen. If you want to take advantage of additional features such as 3D transitions, video noise removal, image stabilization, creating masks or other effects associated with editing the image we have to make a concession (the application renders a watermark informing about the use of MoviePlus Starter Edition to produce the clip) or purchase a paid version of the program - MoviePlus X6.

The free version of the application has several limitations. You can work on up to two audio and video tracks, and finished films can only be exported to QuickTime, AVI, WMV, WAV and WMA formats. Compared to MoviePlus X6, MoviePlus Starter Edition does not include narration recording, creating DVDs, VCDs and Blu-ray discs, exporting movies to H.264 format or displaying the audio volume measurement tool.
