Monosnap is a convenient program for saving screenshots and recording screencasts, with the ability to place various additional elements such as subtitles or arrows in the image. Monosnap allows you to take snapshots of the whole screen or just a part of it, while marking it presents a 8×8 pixel preview, which allows you to precisely choose the dimensions. After taking a screenshot, you can automatically save it, send it to an FTP or WebDAV server or open it in the editor.
The Monosnap editor allows you to add arrows, subtitles (font can be selected in program settings), frames, ellipses and handwritten notes to images. You can also blur sensitive data that you don't want to present on the screenshot. Each element added to the screenshot will behave like a vector shape and can be freely moved or removed.
You can use the webcam to record videos and mark important information during recording. The program is free of charge, but you can buy it for integration with popular drives in the cloud. You can also create an account in the service of program authors.
