Mikogo is a powerful tool for conducting conferences and presentations via the Internet. Thanks to it we can organize a meeting in the network with other users located even on the other side of the world. The program is available in two versions:
free (no commercial use) and paid (for entrepreneurs). Mikogo's rules of operation are very simple - the person who conducts the meeting (there is an option to change the presenter during the meeting to one of the users), streams the image of the desktop of his computer on the Internet, which can be viewed by all invited guests (maximum 25 people). At the same time, they are connected to each other by voice, which allows them to communicate seamlessly using the built-in VoIP or free teleconference numbers.
The functions offered by Mikogo can be used using any web browser (no additional files required) on a computer (PC, Mac, Linux) or mobile device (iPad, iPhone, Android). An important feature of this program is the ability to share documents or applications between users of the above mentioned hardware. Mikogo includes a session schedule that allows you to plan individual meetings in advance and send invitations to participants at the right time.
You can also reserve unique session IDs for future reuse. Persons who, for various reasons, will not be able to participate in the meeting, have the opportunity to acquaint themselves with the recording of the presentation. If the conference leader has multiple monitors on the Mikogo tool, he or she can choose which monitor to capture the image.
Nothing stands in the way of choosing which application or window is to be made available to other participants, and which areas of the computer's desktop are to be hidden. Mikogo allows you to create your own profiles with specific functions and settings. It is also worth mentioning that the application allows you to send files during online meetings to other participants, such as:
charts, short films, infographics, etc. (file must not exceed 200 MB).
