MarkdownPad Free is a free edition of a tool dedicated to webmasters and people who run their own website, blog, etc. With its help we can quickly and conveniently convert plain text into text formatted in the increasingly popular Markdown language. The application is very easy to use and despite a bit limited functionality compared to other editors, it gives the user the ability to format any text using Markdown language tags, which is often used on websites.

The MarkdownPad editor can perform basic text formatting (bold, italics, etc.), as well as containing quotes, code blocks, headers and lists, hyperlinks and graphics. The program also offers spell-checking, line numbering, typed word counting and scroll bar synchronization functions. MarkdownPad interface has been divided into two parts, in which we enter text and tags and in real time we can preview the effects of our work.

Thanks to the support of keyboard shortcuts, the formatting of the project is also much more efficient and faster. In the editor's settings we can define styles used during formatting, interface coloring, etc.
