Mandagon is a free and simple in assumptions project presenting, apart from good gameplay, a lot of connections with Tibetan theology and philosophy. The game is mainly based on exploring the mysterious world of Mandagon and discovering its numerous riddles. The basic task of the player is to find and activate all the portals unlocking the passages to the top of the tower symbolizing human existence.

The task turns out to be not so simple, because the authors have predicted a number of different difficulties, which will have to be faced in the course of the game. The game also abounds in a large number of hidden locations, where various kinds of puzzles and puzzles await.
