MailStore Home is an interesting and free (for home use) tool that allows you to archive mail from multiple sources in the form of a single file stored on a hard disk, CD/DVD or USB memory stick. The program supports most of the most popular e-mail clients - including Microsoft Outlook 2000/XP/2003/2007/2010 Beta, Outlook Express, Windows Mail, Mozilla Tunderbird and SeaMonkey, as well as services - including GMail and IMAP/POP3 protocols. All archived mail can be browsed and searched (which is important without unpacking the archive).
The data collected in this way can be written to CDs/DVDs via the built-in wizard. In addition to importing MailStore Home mail, it also allows you to export it. This is where the most popular mail applications, but also IMAP mailboxes, etc.
are supported. An unquestionable advantage of the program is its enormous simplicity and a friendly and pleasing to the eye graphic interface. However, there is no task scheduler function that allows to define automatic archiving in a specified time.
