LockHunter is an easy-to-use tool that allows you to regain control over files and folders blocked by some processes that are often associated with malware. The program integrates with Windows Explorer and after installation is available from the context menu. You can start it by right-clicking on the selected file or folder and selecting 'What is locking this file?

In the main LockHunter window there is a list of processes that currently block the data indicated by us. The options available in the program allow you to unlock, delete, copy or rename such a file. LockHunter, despite its simplicity, can handle all kinds of malware removal well.

Thanks to the function of closing and deleting processes that block files on the disk, we can easily deal with harmful components, which could not be removed using traditional methods. Any data deleted from the LockHunter level is placed in the system basket. This makes it easy to restore them if you make a mistake.
