Lines is a free and uncomplicated source code editor for computers with Windows operating system. The tool can also function as an alternative to the popular Notepad. The application contains useful templates (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP and TXT), checks for PHP syntax errors during saving, allows you to work on several projects simultaneously (individual files are opened on tabs), supports Unicode, UTF-8, ANSI, ASCII encoding (also includes a coding and text converter), and also offers access to the built-in web browser and word search functions directly from the tool described.
Lines features a minimalist user interface, allowing the vast majority of the application surface to be used for text input.
