Koala Player is a Polish video player, characterized by lightness, ease of use and support for the most popular video formats - AVI, MPG, MPEG, MOV, ASF and DAT. Unlike many competing players, the application has not been overloaded with unnecessary and often not used by the majority of users options. It offers a set of standard features that, in addition to the ability to play movies, allow you to display subtitles and adjust them to the video content you're watching, scale and resize the image, scroll forward or backward through the movie by a set amount of time, and define the speed of playback.

Apart from basic options related to subtitles (available directly from the context menu), Koala Player is also equipped with a built-in subtitle editor, which allows, among other things, to correct the display time, insert additional subtitles, and so on. Importantly, the subtitles are displayed using a special graphic filter, so that their quality remains at a high level. Koala Player is based on proven DirectShow technology, ensuring smooth playback of movies even on older computers.

In addition, the user receives a lector module, which allows to use the voices installed in the system to read subtitles. The application can also repair damaged video files and remove "frozen frames" from them. Among the many available language versions of the player there is of course also Polish.

There was also support for skins, which allow you to customize the appearance of the program to the individual preferences of the user.
