Kaspersky Security Scan is a small application that allows you to scan your computer quickly. It does not interfere with other antiviruses installed on the system, and in case of finding problems it informs the user about it. However, it is not in itself able to remove the threats.

The application is very easy to use. Just download a small file and then run it. At this point, the program will download the scanner components, after the process is finished, it will be launched.

In the main window we can start scanning, update virus databases and view reports. The program informs not only about detected security threats, but also about incorrect protection settings of the system and other system components, e.g. disabled antivirus or incorrect settings of Internet Explorer.

The scanner included in the application does not work in the same way as the one from the original Kaspersky package, i.e. it scans only selected, most sensitive areas. This results in a very high scanning speed.

Although scanning is free of charge, troubleshooting ends with redirecting to the manufacturer's website, where we can choose one of the packages available in his offer. The whole is available in Polish, it also supports graphic motifs, although in this application it is only an add-on.
