The steel element calculator can be used in the design of various steel elements in accordance with the steel standard PN-90/B-03200. It contains libraries of sections of several dozen steel products used in construction structures, divided into three groups: hot-rolled profiles (I-sections, channels, angles, T-sections, pipes and round bars), welded sections of metal sheets (I-sections, box sections, T-sections), cold-formed profiles (rectangular and square pipes, channels and angles).
The user can also declare their own round and rectangular pipes, angles, as well as welded I-sections, T-sections and box sections. Individual profiles can be assembled into complex multi-branch sections with various systems, connected by battens or directly by welds. The following options are available for the dimensioning of steel members:
bending, including bi-directional, including lateral torsional buckling, axial tensile/compression, including flexural buckling in both main planes and torsional and torsional buckling, compression/eccentric tension, shear, tension of individual eccentrically fixed sections, also taking into account the weakening of bolthole holes. It is possible to declare multiple load combinations for the component to be calculated. Normal conditions of strength and stability of steel elements are given as the final results of the calculations.
The program allows you to perform calculations of rolled and welded beams, single and multi-branch columns, purlins, truss bars, bracing, etc. The program allows you to calculate the number of columns and multi-branch columns, purlins, truss bars, bracing, etc.
