JRiver Media Jukebox is a free media harvester that includes an audio player with accompanying tools for convenient organization and music handling. The software allows for efficient cataloguing of audio resources, downloading songs from Audio-CD media or burning your own discs with your favorite music, e.g. to a car.

The program allows you to automatically search for music on your computer disk, catalogue audio files, create your own playlists, manage tags, rate individual songs and search for music in your library according to defined criteria. In addition, it can play podcasts, synchronize music collection with portable devices, send files as e-mail attachments or to external FTP servers. With JRiver Media Jukebox we will enlarge our collections with songs stored on Audio-CD discs (ripping option), and if necessary we will burn selected items to a CD.

Like other solutions of this type, JRiver Media Jukebox offers a multi panel graphic interface that supports drag-and-drop. The application has several diagrams of the arrangement of individual modules. View our library as a list of albums, artists, genres or as a three-dimensional scene.

Importantly, the player can operate in compact mode, in which all unnecessary tools while listening to music are hidden. The program does not lack the option of displaying visualization and plug-ins extending its capabilities with new functions. JRiver Media Jukebox supports AAC, AC3, AIF, AIFC, AIFF, AU, CDA, CUE, DTS, FLAC, M4P, M4B, MKA, MIDI, APE, MPC, MP3, MPA, MPEG, JMX, OGG, RAM, TA, WAV, RAW, WV and WMA.

The supported playlists included M3U, PLS, XPL, BPL, MPL and WPL files.
