Jane is a tool for viewing and editing ASCII files, thanks to which we can easily and quickly play back selected documents on the hard disk. After installation, the application is integrated with the system shell, which allows you to run ASCII files by double-clicking on the indicated document in Windows Explorer or using the "drag and drop" technique (applies not only to individual files, but also to folders in order to view their contents). You can also create a new file with a single click.
Jane supports multi-instance (you can specify whether you want to work in one instance of the application, where files will be opened in one window, or in many), offers the ability to run hyperlinks located in the text, copy a selected text fragment to the clipboard, and allows you to configure ten different font schemes (you can easily switch between them). Working with the tool is easy and quick access to the menu containing a list of thirty recently opened files. In addition, Jane allows you to add new types of files to the list of supported files, so that we can extend its functionality.
