iSpy is an interesting and free software for creating small monitoring systems, allowing not only to observe the images from cameras connected to the computer, but also to detect movement, and then inform the user about it. The program can be successfully used as a tool for monitoring individual rooms, as well as the whole house. From its level we can record video and sound from many sources - webcams, IP cameras, microphones, etc.

iSpy is equipped with an interesting motion detection function, which additionally offers a mechanism for facial detection and adjustment of motion detection area. After proper configuration, the application will not start recording the image and/or sound until motion has been recorded (the program can recognize the motion path and the number of moving objects). Recorded video can be saved as FLV or MP4 files, uploaded to other computers on the network or shared on YouTube.

In addition, we can place the camera image in real time on our own website. iSpa can be operated remotely from any computer with Internet access, as well as iPod/iPhone and many others running Android or Windows Phone 7. Motion detection notifications in the monitored area can be sent to the user via SMS, MMS or e-mail.

Installing the iSpy server allows you to combine multiple instances of the program and share the recorded image of all of them on one website. iSpy is available from the system tray after commissioning. Access to it can be protected with a password.
