Older edition of an Intel tool that identifies the processor installed on your computer. The program only supports older Intel Pentium II/III processors, some Celeron models and earlier models. Intel Processor Frequency ID Utility provides information about two CPU and bus frequencies - the one that was considered the maximum for this particular unit during production testing and the current CPU operation.

In addition, information is available on the exact processor type, amount of L1 and L2 cache, connector, MMX support (or not), SIMD Extensions 1 and 2 and NetBurst. The program is now replaced by Intel Processor Identification Utility.
