Immunet Protect is the basic version, next to Panda Cloud Antivirus, one of the most popular antivirus programs, which work on the basis of the so-called "cloud" model. The programme was developed by Oliver Friedrichs, who once worked on the Norton product line as one of Symantec's engineers. It provides effective protection against more than 13 million different viruses, worms, trojans, keyloggers and spyware that steal confidential information from computers.

Thanks to the cloud model, Immunet Protect does not require updating virus signature databases, and most of the program processes are executed on external servers, which makes it ideal for older computers. Immunet Protect has two detection motors - ETHOS and SPERO, offering the possibility of scanning the computer in 3 modes: Flash Scan (including system registry and running processes), Custom Scan (analyzing specific files and locations) and Full System Scan (scanning the contents of the entire hard drive).

The program allows you to monitor all programs installed or running on your computer, place suspicious files in the quarantine, schedule scanning, and is equipped with Gaming Mode, targeted at players. According to the developers, Immunet Protect can be installed as a supplement to standard antiviruses and is compatible with programs such as AVG, Avast, Avira, Norton, Mcafee, Microsoft Security Essentials, Kaspersky, Comodo and a few less popular. The basic version of the program has a slightly limited functionality.
