IMAGIA Lite version is a presentation of the possibility of a €19 program designed to correct and stylize photos, also able to open RAWs saved by many digital cameras. The program allows you to open only one file, but under the icon symbolizing the film roll you will find all the photos from the folder, whose thumbnails will be loaded for you by the WIC codec or known dcraw (you can choose the appropriate option in the program settings). You can also enable opening files first through dcraw and make a preliminary correction in this program, which can however significantly extend the working time with each photo.

In the IMAGIA program we have a lot of tools at our disposal, both familiar to everyone and completely new. For example, in the palette with basic parameters, apart from lights, shadows, white balance and brightness, you will also find the possibility of changing the photo in black and white in several ways. The color control palette lets you quickly extract only selected colors from the photo or operate on each channel separately.

The detail extraction tab allows you to manipulate sharpening, grain, glow and micro-constrast. We also have at our disposal a classic framing tool with the possibility of setting the horizon manually. The author did not forget about the possibility of point editing and introduced the possibility of using masks in his program.

Thanks to them we can brighten, darken, sharpen, blur, saturate colours or remove red eyes. Editing in this way is non-destructive and the effects can be modified or removed at any time. What's interesting, the author also took care to be able to detect the edges of objects in the photo while painting the mask.

The effects could not be lacking. Thanks to them we can age the photo, put scratches, dust, film outline, paper texture, grain, printing errors, flashes and so on. Below is a pallet containing lens effects, where you will find a half filter and a vignette.

The effect of the work can be mixed with the original photo thanks to the tools of joining layers. There we have the possibility to choose which one will be "underneath" and how we want to combine them. By hovering the cursor over the appropriate icon in the tray we can at any time see what the original looks like.

To the advantages of the program should also be added the fact that after restarting, we can start working where it has recently been completed, and practical shortcuts. And if you don't have any ideas, you can always use one of the templates provided with the program (you can also save your own) or a random effects generator. The finished work in the Lite version of the program will have a small watermark in the corner, and its size will be limited to 1200 pixels high (any width).

The photo can be quickly uploaded to Google+, Facebook or SkyDrive, the full version of the program also allows you to save the file to disk (JPG or TIFF) and export it to Flickr, already without size limitations and watermark. The dimensions of the stored image can be changed in the program settings.
