IconUtils is a tool for creating completely new and editing existing icons. It will also allow us to convert your images to use them as icons to place them on your desktop or in any other place. Individual icons (as well as cursors, which we will also prepare using IconUtils) can be saved in many popular graphic formats, such as:
ICO, BMP, JPEG, CUR, PNG, WBMP, XBM, XPM, PSD (Adobe Photoshop) and RC (Resource Compiler). However, before this happens, we can easily import images available in files to IconUtils: ICO, BMP, JPEG, ANI, CUR, GIF, PNG, TIFF, PCX, WMF, WBMP, XPM, XBM and PSD.
The built-in tool also allows you to convert images to BMP, JPEG and PNG. You can use your work not only in the Windows operating system, where icons up to 768 by 768 pixels are supported, but also Mac OS X (here the size limit is 1024 by 1024 pixels). In addition, the icons available on MaC OS X are converted so that they can be used on a computer with Windows.
IconUtils also allows you to extract icons and cursors from Windows executable files, libraries and animated cursor files.
