The game under the full title I Wanna Be The Guy: The Movie: The Game, usually shortened to the first part only, has gained not insignificant popularity in a very short time.

This is one of the phenomena on the stage of independent artists, releasing projects for free. The gameplay draws its inspiration from classic 2D platformers, which did not spoil us with the level of difficulty of the challenge. This, however, leads to almost art.

We direct the actions of a tiny character, consisting of just a few pixels, who has to overcome successive screens, full of dangers. Usually they are hidden and only after learning how to take the next steps and jumps can you go further. You disappear here every few moments.

The checkpoints were placed very rarely, forcing cautious, accurate handling. Production is therefore not a game for just one evening. I Wanna Be The Guy really teaches patience and control over emotions.

This graphically efficient project is at the same time very ambitious, often giving false hope that this time it will succeed.... Hits fans from 8-bit consoles will be happy to hear references to old legends, cursing developers for adding bosses to the game. There is no way to live in the end.
