HxD is an advanced hexadecimal editor for low-level editing of files, hard disks and images of CD/DVD media. Unlike other tools of this type, it is perfect for editing large batches of data (files over 4 GB in size) on computers with relatively small amounts of memory. In addition to the editing itself, the program offers the functions of simple file comparison, file splitting, merging and accurate deletion (preventing recovery), graphical analysis and the generation of Checksum-8001001001, Checksum-8001, CRC-16001, CRC-16001, SHA-1999, SHA-1999, SHA-1999, SHA-1999, SHA-1999, SHA-1999, SHA-1999, SHA-1999, SHA-1999, SHA-1999, and other user-configured products.
HxD supports ANSI, DOS/IBM-ASCII and EBCDIC character systems, allowing data to be exported to source code (Pascal, C, Java, C #, VB.NET), text (Plain Text, HTML, Richtext, TeX) and HEX files (Intel HEX, Motorola S-record).
