HDD Regenerator is an interesting tool whose task is to search for and remove from the hard disk errors (sector research), caused by demagnetization of the disk surface. During its work, the program scans each sector of the disk in search of these errors, and then, through a sequence of low and high signals, tries to regenerate the damaged area. HDD Regenerator works in the physical layer of the device, so it is not important to use a file system or partitions.

According to the manufacturer's assurances, the program is completely safe for the data stored on the disk. However, it should be noted that at the moment of several unsuccessful attempts to read the data on the damaged area it is reset to zero.
