GNU Robbo is an open source project based on the Polish hits known around the world as Adventures of Robbo, which aims to familiarize an entirely new generation of players with the incredible logical production from years ago. The great advantage of this interesting proposal is the availability of a title for various systems, from Windows, of course, through Linux, to AmigaOS. There was even an edition for PlayStation Portable.
Apart from minor changes in the theme of the game, GNU Robbo is not far from the original. With the permission of its creator, all levels available in the original were reconstructed here, with the addition of parcels of subsequent, which resulted in more than 1100 stages to go through. The goal of the game remained the same.
A heroic worker must collect all the screws to open the transition to the next map. It can move objects around, shoot when a battery is found, and must be careful not to be destroyed by enemies or, for example, lasers that shoot through the entire screen. A definite advantage of classic reworking in relation to Adventures of Robbo are the game configuration options.
Many language parcels were created, including Polish. You can choose from several graphic versions of the tiles used in the project, so you can visually go back to the old days, changing the whole layout, and at the same time also the sounds. It's a breath of the former style of making games, dressed in new robes.
