Gmail Backup is a free and easy-to-use tool for backing up the contents of your Gmail mailbox. If necessary, it also allows you to restore data from a previously performed backup. The program allows you to transfer all or selected e-mails to the local hard drive on your computer.

For this purpose, it uses the IMAP protocol and makes it possible to retrieve correspondence from terms selected by the user. With the option of restoring your mailbox from a backup file, it can also be used to migrate content from one Gmail account to another. Gmail Backup, despite the lack of a Polish language version, should not cause anyone any problems.

The developers made editions available for Windows and Linux.
