GitHub is a service used by both large developers and a whole host of smaller ones. There you will find projects conducted by Facebook, Twitter, Microsoft (related to Azure), VMware, RedHata (JBoss), Linkedin, Mozilla, temporarily also the Linux kernel and many others. The service is quite popular, so the release of a client for Windows will surely come to his health, especially as the application works on versions of the system from XP to 8.
The application does not surprise - you will find here the ability to clone the repository, browse the history, save changes, "branching" the project and of course sharing the code on GitHub. You can work on multiple local repositories and one remote on GitHub or compatible servers (this requires manual configuration). In addition, the program allows for automatic synchronization with the selected branch and once and for all allows programmers to forget about generating their own SSH keys.
