GeoSetter is a free Windows tool that allows you to view and manipulate photo location data and other information stored in the photo metadata (IPTC/XMP/Exif). The program, based on existing information, displays the exact location where the photo was taken on Google maps, allowing you to set geographical data based on a point on the map or the geographical coordinates entered (length, latitude, sea level altitude). The application can automatically complete IPTC data and altitude values by downloading coordinates from the Internet for a point on the map indicated by the user.
GeoSetter allows you to synchronize the data collected within the program with NMEA, GPX, PLT, Sony LOG, IGC and other routes. You can also export data to Google Earth. GeoSetter successfully reads and saves photos in JPEG/TIFF formats and digital camera files - CRW, CR2 and THM (Canon), NEF and NRW (Nikon), MRW (Konica Minolta), PEF (Pentax), ORF (Olympus), ARW, SR2, SRF (Sony) and RAF (Fujifilm), RW2 and RAW (Panasonic), RWL (Leica).
