GameMaker is a game development environment dedicated to both newcomers and experienced developers. With the program, you can create games for platforms such as iOS, Android, Xbox, desktop (Windows, Mac OS) and HTML5-compatible web browsers at the same time. GameMaker offers all the necessary features for creating 2D games.

The program uses drag&drop technology, thanks to which it is possible to create a game only with the use of mouse movements, without programming skills. Of course, more advanced users can take advantage of the GameMaker Language (GML), which gives them full control over elements such as physics, particle emitters, object interaction and much more. The GML language also allows you to create modules for integration with social networking sites, payment systems, etc.

IDE allows you to manage the entire game development process, from building the first conceptual outlines to finished projects with graphics, sound effects, fonts, and more. GameMaker is also adapted to group work on projects thanks to SVN support. In addition, the program offers a built-in Developer Services Portal (DSP) allowing developers to monitor player activity and earn money by adding in-app purchases to games.

IDE GameMaker is available in 3 editions: Free, Professional and Master. Each of them offers additional possibilities and includes a module for exporting games to different platforms.
