Fusion allows you to combine several photos of the same scene to create a wide range of brightness (HDR) images. Then, using tone mapping, you can reduce the brightness of the image so that it can be viewed on a computer monitor, so that details can be preserved or the image can be styled. Before connecting to an HDR image, the loaded photos can be automatically aligned, which is especially useful if the photos were taken without a tripod.
The program will automatically recognize objects in the photos and level the movement between shots. Combining photos can be done through simple averaging or exposure fusion - an algorithm that allows the user to define the parameters of combining images, for example, to select sharp, saturated or best-exposed fragments from each photo. In addition, the program allows you to highlight the details, smooth the glow characteristic of HDR, and color correction.
Tone mapping allows you to modify gamma, local contrast of lights, shadows and half-shadows, as well as color saturation. Finished images can be saved in JPG, TIF and BMP formats.
