Freeraser is a free tool for completely deleting data from the hard drive so that it is not possible to recover it (unlike the usual deletion of files through the system trash). The application allows you to delete files and folders in three modes - Fast, Forced and Ultimate. Depending on the choice made, the program reduces the chance of restoring the deleted data - 1 to 35 overwrites of disk space are performed, but the tool needs more time to perform this type of operation.

Freeraser uses random data generated according to DoD 5220.22M or the Guttman algorithm for each cycle.
