FreeFixer allows you to remove potentially unwanted components - viruses, worms, trojans, spyware and adware - from Windows. The tool is effective and targeted at more experienced users. Once activated, it performs a thorough scan of the system, taking into account the locations most susceptible to all kinds of infections.

It then displays an overview of any detected components that could potentially present a hazard. In practice, however, most of them are user-installed applications, so a thorough analysis is suggested when selecting components to remove. Inappropriate use of the tool may lead to a situation in which an application may stop working and will need to be reinstalled.

FreeFixer is available in a standard form for installation in the system and in a portable version. The Creator also provides a Pro edition with a quarantine mechanism.
